OUR EVOLUTION 1922 The company was founded in Turin and specialized in the production and marketing of industrial cutting tools and shaving blades (Morris and Softi). 1964 With the move to Milan in the early 1960s, the company came into contact with a growing and increasingly demanding demand, a key impulse in stimulating the search for new cutting solutions. 1970 These were the years of consolidation in the Italian market and the first openings to foreign markets, which also took place in collaboration with important European companies in the blade and industrial cutting sector. 2005 New types of GM-branded blades and new higher-performance materials, such as ceramic and titanium, are added to the offering. In order to be closer to customers’ needs, the company began to specialize in consulting service and custom blade design. 2010 Increased market mastery through cooperative relationships with historical blade suppliers, specialization in strategic sectors (Packaging & Converting), andresearch and monitoring of relevant trends, such as that of sustainability that gives rise to Green Line. 2020 The company introduces blades better suited to new eco-packaging.Today GM Blades presents itself as a key player in the industrial cutting industry, in Italy and abroad, providing reliable and technically advanced cutting solutions.
